This contract was awarded to T.J.Lowery (Sub-Contractors.)Ltd by Kingerlee Construction and represents the need to provide both quantity and quality on a huge scale, something we have been used to doing for nearly 40 years. One of the many projects we have undertaken for Oxford University during the last few decades, this was certainly one of the most challenging and rewarding of them all. The site Consisted of 100 new en -suite bedrooms, an Auditorium, Seminar rooms and a Café.
The scope of works for this new Oxford Quad spanned from first fix including flat roof work, parapet walls, stud partitions etc. to standard second fix items of doors, door furniture, skirting and architraves etc. to even one off joinery items such as special feature bespoke oak walls to Auditorium, Café and Seminar rooms as shown in our photos and fitted furniture all requiring a team of thirty carpenters and two foremen.
