Wadham College, Dr Lee Shau Kee Access Centre & William Doo Undergraduate Centre for Oxford University.

Another Contract awarded to T.J.Lowery (Sub-Contractors)Ltd, this time by Beard Construction Ltd. The £11.5million Contract for these two buildings comprised of student accommodation for students and visitors, reception areas, seminar room, cafe, piano room and other music rooms.

Our company was commissioned by Beard to cover the majority of all carpentry Sub-Contract Works from structural first fix items such as flat roof and parapet wall installations to the standard second fix items of skirtings, architraves doors and ironmongery etc. All fire doors were thoroughly audited in accordance with the UKAS Approved BM TRADA fire door installation Scheme of which we are enlisted as a certified member. On completion of the fire door audit our Client was provided with an audit report, photos of every fire door taken both during and after completion, plans clearly identifying fire door locations, copies of fire door certificates and fire door installation instructions, fire door installer certificate copy, test evidence and product information for fire foam or mastic used and any correspondence (I.E emails)created in relation to the fire doors or fire door installations.

In addition to the above some of the most striking and impressive craftsmanship is undoubtably clearly displayed in the panelling fitted by our experienced team of carpenters, illustrated particularly well with the dark oak to the main entrance area and piano room. Despite the inevitable required alterations to some panels where; as built areas slightly conflict with as drawn, our team at Wadham executed this joinery package with meticulous precision.
